2008 - We discuss the art of
Receiving Humbly and Giving Generously by firstly providing the late
Clif Merritt's recounting of Fall 2008 - As we announce our annual membership meeting for November 9, Swan View takes a look at how we can all pull together during even economic hard times to remain generous in our protection of people, water, fish and wildlife. Positive local examples of cooperation between private, county, state and federal entities are presented, along with an opportunity for donors to automatically double their donation via a generous matching grant from Cinnabar Foundation. Spring and Summer 2008 - Our lawsuits continue to help protect old-growth forests and wildlife habitat security, with a federal judge recently banning late-spring snowmobiling on the Flathead National Forest. Make the "Swan Trek Bet," a fun way to help support our work while staying fit and learning more about the natural and cultural history of the Swan Range. Winter 2008 - Special Issue and Call to Action: Securing Quiet Habitat for Fish, Wildlife, and Humans! This issue provides a primer on our efforts to reduced the number of roads and motor vehicles on the Flathead National Forest.
